I love food. Problem is, when I get home from work I am so tired I never know what to cook, so I just don’t. I make Mac and cheese, "frozen delight platters"(this is what I call them to my husband so he thinks it something grand when really it consists of chicken fingers, fries, and pizza rolls). The other night I made buffalo chicken dip..and only the dip...then went on to ask my husband if that could be enough for his meal...needless to say I am not the best housewife!!
Its not that I am lazy when I come home!! The problem is that I do not have much experience cooking meals every night. When I lived on my own I did not make big meals. I ate random small dishes that filled me up and were fine to be considered dinner. But now I am trying to get more into cooking...but I run out of ideas of what to make!!! The times I have cooked it was fun, and I loved the feeling I had that I made a delicious and satisfying dinner.
So I need help! Do you have any recipes for me? maybe something quick, easy, or just so good that it is worth the effort and wait??? I am a hungry girl with an even more hungry husband...he would be forever grateful. I don’t know if he can take another "frozen delight platter". :)

it's the 2000's... tell him to get with the times & cook for you too! take turns so the pressure isn't all on you. love the picture!
I used to call my friends or ask my co-workers what they were having. It might not have been much better than what I planned, but it was different! Now you know how your mother felt every day!!!M
Shepherds pie is quick & easy
Just layer in ovenproof pan
scrambled hamberg spiced to taste
corn
beef or onion gravy
mashed potatoes (instant work great)
shredded cheese (optional)
bake at 400 until cheese just begins to form a crust or until potatoes just begin to turn golden
Creamy Paprika Chicken
(easy and fast - about 20 min. start to finish)
Season 1 lb. chicken breasts with salt & pepper. Brown in a skillet with a tablespoon of butter.
In a bowl, mix 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 tablespoon paprika, ½ teaspoon tarragon and 1 teaspoon ground red pepper. Add mixture to skillet, turning to coat chicken breasts.
Cover and cook on medium heat until chicken is cooked through (about 10 minutes).
Remove chicken from skillet, place atop a bed of hot cooked egg noodles.
Add 1/3 cup sour cream to paprika mixture in skillet, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over chicken and egg noodles.
Garnish with fresh parsley
Stuffed Hot Dogs! Sounds nasty but it's yummy. Slice hot dogs down the center, stuff them with mashed potatoes and top 'em with cheese. Then bake them for like 20 minutes.

Stuffed hot dogs!!
My mom used to stuff them with cheese and then wrap them in poppin' fresh bicuit or crescent roll dough before baking them.
